XQC printing is very familiar with the printing process when custom cosmetic packaging, usually combining the advantages and characteristics of the four major processes of offset printing, embossing, intaglio printing, and screen printing for printing. Offset printing is often used to achieve accurate image reproduction, gravure printing is used to complete large-area spot color printing, flexographic or screen printing is used for polishing and surface finishing, and digital printing or screen printing is used for packaging and anti-counterfeiting printing.
Beauty packaging boxes In order to achieve a special dazzling effect, the application of UV printing, hot stamping, laminating, embossing, and polishing processes has gradually become popular in XQC printing. Despite the rapid development of printing technology and the flourishing of various techniques, presenting a phenomenon of a hundred schools of thought competing, after years of assessment and market feedback statistics verification, the common ones are mainly as follows:
Hot stamping (silver): By heating, applying pressure, and pressing gold foil onto paper, it has the advantages of delicate and solid imprints, good metallic texture, strong covering power, and high floating power. It can present a strong metallic luster and is cost-effective. The printed patterns are clear, beautiful, and brightly colored, durable, and weather resistant. Commonly used product trademarks, registered names, and significant effects in cosmetics.
Screen printing: Screen printing belongs to stencil printing. During printing, the makeup packaging box printing plate transfers ink through the holes of the stencil to the substrate under certain pressure, forming images or text. The most significant advantage of screen printing is that it is not limited by the size and shape of the substrate, making plate making convenient and cost-effective; Moreover, the ink layer is thick, the graphic and text layers are rich, the three-dimensional effect is strong, and the printing materials are wide.
Offset printing: Offset printing is a type of flat printing that uses rubber to transfer the text and images on the printing plate to the substrate. Offset printing has fast printing speed, relatively stable printing quality, and a short entire printing cycle. The printed graphic and non graphic parts are basically on the same plane, with thin ink thickness. The distinction between offset printing and screen printing is very direct. If you can feel the raised texture of the text pattern by touching the printed surface with your hand, it is screen printing; If you don't feel any tactile sensation of text patterns, it's a smooth surface, which is offset printing.
Concave convex: Using concave convex molds, under certain pressure, the substrate of printed materials undergoes plastic deformation, thereby performing artistic processing on the surface of printed materials. The concave convex printing has a strong sense of quality and produces a three-dimensional relief effect, which can leave a lasting impression on people visually. Generally, the company logo of cosmetics is made into this process effect. However, the concave convex process is relatively expensive, and the precision of the metal zinc plate is limited, which cannot reflect too small details.
Relief: It is an upgraded version of the concave convex effect, which showcases the brand's design features in multiple layers. The lines are softer, and the layers are more distinct and delicate. Having good tactile and visual appeal, enhancing the added value and artistic effect of the cosmetic paper box product.
